Barangay is a laid back B&B in an 18th century canal house, done up in tropical style. There are patio rooms and upper rooms (2nd and 3rd floor by typical Dutch steep stairs) all with cable TV and a fridge, and Wifi is available free of charge. Barangay is non-smoking, but the rooms on the ground floor have access to a patio where smoking is allowed. The B&B is close to the famous Jordaan quarter, with its specialty shops and restaurants, and within walking distance from Central Station, the Red Light District and the gay scene.
